It wasn't as much of a big deal to us as we had 2 boys in that room. Where as the penthouse it is a smaller version of the master bath. The bathroom in the 2nd bedroom of the tower suite is a normal bathroom. Here is where there is a major disappointing difference. They supposedly sent someone to look at it, but it never got real cold. However, we had an issue this time with ours not cooling properly. Both rooms had a personal mini fridge to use. The dining area table wasn't as big and was all glass vs the heavier stone. There aren't any wood dividers that make it more comfortable for multiple people using at the same time. I do like the couch better in the tower vs the penthouse. The beds were just as comfortable in both rooms as the penthouse. I guess its their way of getting in free advertisement. They were both volcano view and of course the view is obstructed due to the Beatles Love Advertising sign over the windows. There were a few differences in the rooms. I am comparing this room to the 2 bedroom penthouse suite we stayed in December 2014. We stayed 4 nights in a 2 bedroom tower suite.
